Recently, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun made an unexpected remark. At the press conference for MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama series I Miss You that was held on December 17 at the Yangju Cultural Center in Gyeonggi-do, the actor made a public promise that if the series attracts more than 20 percent of the viewing audience, he will treat the cast and crew to Yeongdeok king crab. He inspired laughter as he said, “When the series closes, it will be the perfect time to taste king crab from Yeongdeok. If the viewer ratings go over 20 percent, I want to reward myself and the rest of the cast and crew with some delicious Yeongdeok crab. Rather than being a promise to others, it’s really more like something I want for myself. If we make a fair showing in terms of viewer ratings, I will donate some mandarin oranges and rice to to our unfortunate neighbors in the name of I Miss You.”
I Miss You is about the love story of a couple who live on with the heartbreaking memory of their first love at the age of 15. The lead cast members include Park Yoo Chun, Yoon Eun Hye, and Yoo Seung Ho. Park plays the police officer Han Jung Woo, who seems never unable to forget his first love, Lee Soo Yeon (played by Yoon Eun Hye). The series airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 p.m.
