Rainbow’s No Eul will make her inaugural acting appearance on MBC’s weekend series Dr. Jin.
No Eul plays the role of a kisaeng named Yeon Shim in the 1860s in the series, which will start airing on May 26. She is the right hand of Choon Hong (played by Lee So Yeon), the best kisaeng in Joseon Dynasty, who controls people in power.
No Eul debuted in 2009 as a member of girl group Rainbow. She will show off a variety of her charms through the series. She will continue her career as an actress and play various characters in various works.
No Eul, who appears in a TV series for the first time, says, “Even though I still have a lot to learn, I will do my best to portray my character in the series. Please cheer for me.”
The series is based on the Japanese comic book written by Murakami Motoka with the same title. It is about a modern day Korean surgeon, who goes back in time to the Joseon Dynasty in the 1860s, and works there as a doctor. The first episode will air on May 26.
