In a recent episode of her current TV series, actress Shin Min Ah, playing Arang, is seen warning Lee Joon Gi, playing Eun Oh, not to fall in love with her.
In the tenth episode of MBC’s drama series Arang and the Magistrate, which aired on September 13, Arang tells Eun Oh not to fall in love with her.
When Eun Oh seems to be deeply concerned for Arang, she asks him if he likes her. Embarrassed at the unexpected question, Eun Oh scolds her: “Where does that simple logic come from? That a person likes another because he’s worried about her?”
But Arang refuses to accept Eun Oh’s feelings. She says, “Who says so? For guys, worrying about someone and having compassion for them are equal to having a crush. Anyhow, don’t fall in love with me.”
She continues explaining her situation: “Because I only have two full moons left. I had three, but that old man did a scam on me. If I don’t find out the truth before the second full moon rises, I’ll fall into hell. I’ll be in heaven if I do find out. Eventually, this means that, whether I find out the truth or not, I’ll be gone. In other words, I’ll be here until the full moon rises.”
On hearing her, Eun Oh gets mad and says, “What are you talking about? Why didn’t you tell me earlier that you won’t be here after two months?”
The episode also features Choi (played by Kim Yong Gun) becoming furious when Eun Oh shares food that’s in storage to people without his permission.
