On Dec. 24, Shin Se Kyung presented her different appeals, suggestive of “queen of snow,” through the pictorial for the December issue of the well-known fashion magazine Ceci.
Shin is currently playing Soi, a genius court lady, in Tree with Deep Roots, SBS’s popular drama series which record the highest viewers’ rating among rival series and create a series of sensations every week.
In the drama series, Shin is allowed to wear traditional clothes. That’s why her latest pictorial for Ceci attracts much attention for her doll-like look.
Someone in the know says, “It is very unprecedented for the magazine to produce two versions of cover pages. In the pictorial, she looks innocent and mysterious, reminiscent of ‘queen of snow.’”
Tree with Deep Roots features the story of King Sejong the Great creating the Korean alphabet. Shin is highly praised for her upgraded acting abilities when she realistically plays Soi who deeply fall in love with Gang Chae Yoon, played by Jang Hyuk.
