TV series Hana-Kimi recently announced that they will air the series every Wednesday and Thursday on SBS in August. They also said that they have decided to cast SHINee’s Min Ho and f(x)’s Sulli in the series.
The series is about a girl named Goo Jae Hee, who transfers to the same school that Kang Tae Joon, who is a high jump gold medalist, attends to help him rise again. Kang attends an all-boys high school so Goo disguises herself as a boy to enter. It is based on a Japanese comic book series, written by Hisaya Nakajo, with the same title. The comic book series has ended with volume 23 starting from 1996 to 2004 and received a lot of attention.
Sulli will play the role of Goo Jae Hee, who disguises herself as a boy, and Min Ho will play the role of star high jumper Kang Tae Joon.
Min Ho is currently working hard to become a high jumper with a track coach. Sulli is also working hard to perform her character vividly.
The series will be produced by director Jeon Ki Sang, who has made several hit TV dramas, including, Bodyguard, Sassy Girl Chun Hyang, My Girl, and Boys over Flowers. Writer Lee Young Chul, who wrote the sitcom High Kick, will also work for the series as well.
Since SM C & C (SM Culture & Contents) from SM Entertainment will produce the series for the first time, the series is getting a lot of attention.
The series will cast more actors for the rest of characters in the series and start shooting in June and air in summer.
