SHINee’s Min Ho and f(x)’s Sulli show off their looks in school uniform

SHINee’s Minho, f(x)’s Sulli, Lee Hyun Woo, Kang Ha Neul, ZE:A’s Kwang Hee, and Seo Jun Young recently showed off their looks in school uniform.

SBS TV’s new drama series To the Beautiful You, which will start airing in August, is about Goo Jae Hee (played by Sulli), a girl who comes to boys’ physical education high school, dressing up like a boy, to see Tae Jun (played by Min Ho), a gold medal winner of the high jump.

Minho, Sulli, Lee Hyun Woo, Kang Ha Neul, Kwang Hee, and Seo Jun Young, who will be portraying the students of Ginie Boys’ Phisical Education High School, recently attracted a lot of attention in school uniform.

As shown in the pictures recently released, Sulli created a simple look in school uniform with her white skin, and Min Ho created a classy look as befitted the stubborn character Tae Joon.

Lee Hyun Woo created a lively look with a skull-shaped accessory paired with a silver chain, and Kwang Hee created a distinctive look as befitted the humorous character Song Jong Min. The production team spent about a month to design the uniforms that perfectly fit each actor.

Choi Hye Ryun, a fashion director who is in charge of dressing the actors of the series, says, “The uniforms the main characters are wearing are minimal and unique unlike other existing uniforms. I tried to accentuate each character’s personality as well as their slim figures.”

To the Beautiful You is directed by Jeon Gi Sang, who directed such hit drama series as Body Guard, Sassy Girl Chun-hyang, My Girl, and Boys over Flowers, and written by Lee Young Chul, who previously wrote High Kick Through The Roof and High Kick 3 and The Short Legs Counterattack.
