SHINee’s Minho becomes a gold medalist on To the Beautiful You

SHINee’s Minho has become the most handsome gold medalist.

On July 31, SBS TV’s new drama series To the Beautiful You, which will start airing in August, released some snapshots of Tae Jun (played by Minho) showing off his gold medal.

Beating all foreign players, Tae Jun is showing off his gold medal, standing on the podium. With a bright smile and a bouquet of flowers in his arms, he looks stately as a national player.

Minho’s smile especially impressed lots of people because the 2012 London Olympics are currently on. His stately look as a gold medalist represents the Koreans’ wish for victory of the members of the national team.

The scene was shot at the main Sports Complex on June 28. On the set, Minho created a lively atmosphere with his energetic look. Because the scene was filmed right after a scene of the high jump finals was shot, it seemed more realistic.

In hot weather, Minho shot the scene of the high jump finals for two hours from 9:00 a.m. However, he didn’t seem tired at all but rather focused on portraying his character.

A production company of the series says, “Please give Minho your interest and love because he’s trying very hard to portray the high jumper Tae Jun in detail.”
