SNSD’s food expenses come to higher than the ones of Super Junior

The purposed extreme 1500-calorie diet turned out to be a false rumor.

The November 8 episode of SBS’s variety show Strong Heart features voluble celebrities including SNSD’s Taeyeon, Yoona, Yuri and Tiffany, Seo Gyung Suk, Song Chae Hwan, Son Ho Young, Kim Ji Hyun, Lee Hong Ki, Jin Se Yeon, Sayuri Fujita and Lee Byung Jin.

In the show, SNSD’s Yuri said, “I know SNSD’s 1500-calorie diet has been a buzz in the Internet for a while, but it’s not true. Our single meal seems to amount to the calorie level.”

Taeyeon as well said, evoking big laughs among the guests, “I guess we’re devouring food that amounts to 3000 calories per day. It seems to be higher than the one of Super Junior.”

When the SNSD’s 1500-calorie diet was released in June, it caused a huge sensation, leading to an arguable issue among the public. There have been concerns that the low-calorie diet seems inappropriate considering the killingly tight schedule of the girl group.
