SNSD’s Sooyoung recently talked honestly about her performance in a TV series.
Sooyoung was interviewed for fashion and lifestyle magazine @Star1 and talked about Yoona, Yuri, and Jessica, who debuted as actresses earlier than her.
She said, “Yuri and Jessica appeared on TV dramas as actresses. I supported them a lot. Even though they’ve never appeared on TV dramas before, I was surprised by their great performances.”
She added, “Yoona also has been acting for a long time and created her own field. I don’t feel burdened comparing performances between group members. I think I have my own style of acting.”
“Even before I prepared to become a singer, I participated in many auditions to become an actress. I want to keep challenging myself, not only as a singer but also as an actress.”
Sooyoung will appear on tvN’s The Third Ward.
