Song Hye Kyo is chosen to be a representative model for Chanel

Recently, actress Song Hye Kyo became a representative model for the famous brand Chanel.

A pictorial featuring the star that was issue in March and titled “the little black jacket” has been selected to be used as the main images for a Chanel exhibition on June 16 in Taiwan. As a result, Song Hye Kyo has become the main figure of this promotion in Taiwan.

The selection attracts particular attention because the chief designer for the brand, Karl Lagerfeld, has selected the model on his own from among many celebrities. “The little black jacket” was published to commemorate Chanel’s classic item, the black jacket. The work was done by Lagerfeld, as photographer, and Carine Roitfeld, the chief editor of Paris Vogue, as stylist.

Besides Song Hye Kyo, the collection includes pictures of 133 celebrities, such as Jessica Parker, Kirsten Dunst, and Dakota Fanning. During the brand’s fashion show in Paris last year in October, Lagerfeld suggested that Song Hye Kyo participate in making the photography collection together.
