Super Junior’s Kyuhyun recently dropped tears, thinking of the past when he wasn’t in the spotlight despite the fact that he is a vocalist in the group.
In the episode of MBC TV’s Radio Star, which aired on September 12, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Siwon, Shindong, and Eunhyuk made guest appearances.
The members said they thought Eunhyuk would replace Heechul on Radio Star because there are certain members who usually appear on TV shows. At this, Kyuhyun said in tears, “I didn’t appear on TV shows before. I wasn’t a person who enjoys appearing on TV, either. However, the vocalists of Super Junior, including me, Ryeowook, and Yesung, didn’t receive much attention. I just had to suppress my feelings, watching other members in the spotlight.”
Kyuhyun also said, “The reason I’m appearing on TV shows is because I want to sing. People don’t know who the vocalists of Super Junior are if I don’t raise my profile. I’ve gained more opportunities to sing since I started appearing on Radio Star.”
