Super Junior’s Yesung talked about his first love and how he became a singer.

In the episode of Mnet’s Beatles Code 2 that aired on July 30, Super Junior members made guest appearances and Yesung talked about his first love.

Yesung said, “I went to a school trip when I was in the 8th grade. When I got on the bus, I saw a very pretty girl. It was my first time to think that someone was very pretty. I wanted to see her again. I wasn’t a student who liked to get many people’s attention and had never sung before, but I entered a singing contest for the first time in my life to appeal to the girl. I won the first prize at the contest and got some snacks. I asked my friend to give them to her.” Consequentially, his first love made him to become a singer.

Yesung also said, “To enter the singing contest, I listened to Im Chang Jung’s ‘In My Arms’ over and over again,” and attracted viewers’ attention by singing the song.
