The winner of SBS’s K-pop Star, Park Ji Min, recently revealed that she had received contract offers from many agencies, including the three major agencies—SM, YG, and JYP.
The sixteen-year-old appeared on the episode of Kim Hyun Jung’s Talk Show on CBS radio that aired on May 2, and talked about her happy dilemma—which agency should she choose?
When asked which agency she had chosen, the winner of K-pop Star replied, “I haven’t decided yet. Some say none of the agencies is right for me. Others say I should go with SM, others YG, and others JYP. I haven’t decided yet so I’m still contemplating.”
Kim also asked if there were other agencies she was considering, apart from the three major agencies. Park replied, “Yes, but the offer given by K-pop Star–a contract with one of the top three agencies in Korea–is impossible to turn down. I’m considering one of those.” As her role-model, Park Ji Min chose R&B diva Park Jung Hyun (also known as Lena Park).
