T-ara’s Soyeon eventually appeared on Haeundae Lovers.
Despite the fact that there were several requests to cast another actress for Soyeon’s role, the production team of Haeundae Lovers decided to go with Soyeon.
In the first episode of KBS 2TV’s Haeundae Lovers, which aired on August 6, Soyeon played the role of Kwan Soon, a materialistic girl who does part-time work at a club.
In the episode, Kwan Soon breaks a drunken person’s liquor bottle and asks Sora (played by Jo Yeo Jung) for help. Sora gets surprised because the price of the alcohol is a million won. Kwan Soon asks her to give it to the drunken person, but she soon gets locked up in a room, tied up by tape. This was a short scene, but she didn’t receive favorable reviews for her acting because of her awkward Busan dialect.
However, the reason she didn’t receive favorable reviews is not only because of her bad acting. T-ara have stopped promoting their songs after causing controversy over T-ara’s former member Hwayoung, however, Soyeon and Eunjung are still appearing in their drama series.
