Yang Hyun Suk, the owner of YG Entertainment and K-Pop Star judge recently revealed that he keeps his distance even from the members of Big Bang.
The YG owner appeared in the episode of SBS’s Healing Camp that aired on May 14.
Yang said, “I’m not a friendly person at work. I think the singers in my agency should always be professional. If I get too close with them, it’d be hard for their managers to control them. I think there needs to be at least one strict person in the company.”
He quipped, “I jokingly say that they are not even allowed to eat with me.”
However, the K-pop business mogul fessed up: “To be honest, I want to be friends with the members of Big Bang. I want to hang out with them and have some fun, but I have rarely done that. In fact, I have gone out for a drink with them only twice in the past seven years.”
