Comedian Yoo Jae Suk and actor Jang Dong Gun ranked No. 1 in Korea’s Brand Power for seven consecutive years.

According to the Super Brands that represent Korea, announced by the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies (Director Kim Jae Eun), on November 30, Yoo Jae Suk and Jang Dong Gun were selected as No. 1 male comedian and actor, respectively, for seven consecutive years.

Announced every year since 2003, the Super Brands of the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies have been selected through a survey of about 2000 consumers in their 20s to 60s. In the survey, they are asked to pick a brand that comes uppermost to their mind. In this year, the survey was carried out from May to October online.

Sumi Jo was selected as No. 1 vocalist for six consecutive years. Gong Ji Young and Im Kwon Taek were selected for the first time as No. 1 novelist and director, respectively. Announcer Kim Joo Ha was No. 1 female TV anchor for five consecutive years, and Shin Bong Sun was No. 1 female comedian for four consecutive years. Andre Kim, Park Ji Sung, and Kim Yuna were respectively No. 1 fashion designer, male athlete, and female athlete for three consecutive years. SNSD was No. 1 female singer and Cho Yong Pil was No. 1 male singer for two consecutive years.

Especially, Kim Yuna proved her brand power by being selected as a person who contributed to the increase in the national brand value of Korea.
