Seoul, Korea – Wacom, a company which specializes in tablet computers, will launch its new upgraded LCD color tablet for professionals, called Cintiq 21UX (DTK-2100), through Wacom Korea at the end of this month.
It has been five years since the Cintiq 21UX was last upgraded. This new model will provide a stylus that will have 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity along with a 21.3-inch TFT screen that is antireflective. Therefore, the user will be able to draw on the screen more naturally.
Wacom explained that a touch strip is located behind the right and left sides of the screen and they have applied an ergonomic design to its product, enabling users will be able to operate the device more freely.
The Cintiq 21UX will also have a horizontal stand the slant of which can be adjusted from 10 degrees to 65 degrees. This makes it more comfortable for users to work and draw on the screen. The tablet screen can also be rotated 180 degrees, allowing users to work from various angles.
The deputy head of marketing at Wacom Korea stated that the new, upgraded Cintiq 21UX will be great news for professional designers, who have been waiting for such a device for a long time. He also stated that the Wacom has improved the functions of the Cintiq 21UX and that it will be a great help in raising the level of competitiveness professionals in the workplace and for students majoring in design.
The price of the Cintiq 21UX is pending, and sales will begin at the end of this month.
