Korean-made panda toys Aini and Airun will be exported to China

JHK, a Korean company that manufactures panda toys, will export its products to China, the home of pandas.

On July 22, JKH reported that it recently signed a contract for a license to the publication rights for its panda characters, Aini and Airun, in Korea and China with the For You Net Shop at the 2012 Seoul Character Licensing Fair, which was held at COEX.

Characterized as messengers of love, Aini and Airun have been acknowledged by the 2011 Seoul Character Licensing Fair as among the top ten characters created by amateurs.

The For You Net Shop is a company that manufactures toys, mascot toys, and other miscellaneous goods. It has its factories in Qingdao, China. JHK is planning to enter the Chinese market after developing dolls and clothes with the For You Net Shop.

JHK signed a contract with the For You Net Shop at the Seoul Character Licensing Fair after finishing their negotiations at the 2012 Licensing International Expo (LIMA), which was held in Las Vegas last month.

Jang Hyung Gyu, a CEO of JHK, says, “After developing these character products, we’ll put them on the market in 2013. We and the For You Net Shop have decided to donate part of the profits to child-care centers and other worthy causes.”
