Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk has added an extra date to his upcoming Japan tour, according to his agency Tree J. Company on Thursday.
A press release from Tree J. said that Jang will perform at Tokyo’s prestigious Tokyo Dome on November 26, adding an extra show to his three-city tour titled “2011 JANG KEUN SUK ARENA TOUR THE CRI SHOW IN JAPAN ‘ALWAYS CLOSE TO YOU’” set for next month.
The concerts that have already been set are at Nagoya’s Nippon Gaishi Hall on October 20, Osaka’s Osaka Jo Hall on October 22 and 23 and Tokyo’s Saitama Super Arena on October 25 and 26.
The press release then explained that the decision for an additional show in Tokyo was made since tickets for Jang’s tour sold out within five minutes of going on sale last weekend.
Jang’s show, to take place under the theme of a fairytale, will feature various performances including his song “Let me cry” as well as a question and answer session with fans.
Jang has been popular in Japan since starring in 2009 drama “He’s Beautiful” which has been remade in the country and he has led a successful singing career there as well.
He is now readying for his double role in a Korean drama tentatively titled “Love Rain” co-starring Girls’ Generation member Yoona, which is scheduled to air in the first half of next year.
