In a survey conducted by Korea`s Global TV Arirang among foreign movie critics and fans Jang Keun Suk topped the list of Top 5 Hallyu Actors belonging to the big screen.
The list of selected winners are:
- Jang Keun Suk
- Lee Min Ho
- Rain
- Song Hye Kyo
- Lee Byung Hun
The actors were appreciated for their talent in acting and singing and also their screen presence. Lee Byung Hun, Rain were lauded for their breakthrough performances in Hollywood films like GI Joe series, Ninja Assassin and Song Hye Kyo for her flawless performance in the movie Fetish. Lee Min Ho`s popularity in Japan due to hit dramas like Boys Over Flowers,City Hunter secured him the second place.
The number one place was reserved to the “Prince Of Asia” Jang Keun Suk with a enormous hit drama You’re Beautiful and the current ongoing drama Love Rain which was sold to 12 countries, from Japan to USA. His historic performance at Tokyo Dome with 45,000 fans present was also noted.
Thus, Jang Keun Suk is rightly named as “Asia Prince” due to his continuously soaring popularity.
