Is Park Yoo Chun prettier than Lee Da Hae?

On the June 7 episode of MBC’s drama series Miss Ripley, Park Yoo Chun plays a scene in which he hugs and comforts Lee Da Hae after saving her from a chase.

In the scenes, Jang Miri (Lee Da Hae) runs away from Hirayama (Kim Jung Tae) to Korea to end her miserable life in Japan, but after discovering that Hirayama has come to Korea to find her, she runs away again in panic.

Song Yoo Hyun, who has fallen in love with Jang Miri at first sight, witnesses her running away and saves her. She is terrified, so he hugs her lightly and comforts her, showing his feelings for her for the first time..

On May 16 Lee Da Hae and Park Yoo Chun acted out the chasing scene over a period of eight hours in a subway station in Seoul. In order to not inconvenience the passengers and work with the subway time schedule, the two actors had to work in perfect harmony. Although it was challenging to do an emotional scene right after a chase scene, Lee Da Hae and Park Yoo Chun successfully earned an OK sign from the director without a single mishap.

Miss Ripley’s staff says, “As is shown in the intro, Song Yoo Hyun falls in love with Jang Miri, who has his mother’s eyes. On the other hand, Jang Miri, who had disregarded him because he was living in a dormitory, may now look at him differently after this scene.”

Miss Ripley is the story of a woman whose tells lie upon lie to cover up earlier mistakes, which leads her into a situation where she could lose everything. The story also includes two men who fall in love with this woman, as well as struggle and reconciliation between love and destruction.
