Secret Garden receives the grand prize and the best screenwriting

2011 Korea Drama Awards announced that SBS drama Secret Garden received the grand prize and the best screenwriting.

At 2011 Korea Drama Awards, which took place on the 2nd, Secret Garden was awarded the grand prize with an appraisal that it attracted audience by exquisitely combining fantasy and reality. Secret Garden‘s writer, Kim Eun Suk, was also awarded the best screenwriting.

The best actor went to SBS City Hunter‘s Lee Min Ho and the best actress went to MBC Royal Family‘s Yum Jung Ah. The best supporting actor and the best supporting actress went to SBS Giant‘s Joo Sang Wook and MBC Shining‘s Lee Yu Ri.

KBS Dream High, which idol members were most of the casts, turned out the best new actor, Kim Su Hyun. He was also awarded the most popular actor. The best new actress went to SBS New Gisaeng Story‘s Im Su Hyang.

Jeon Hye Bin, who was also a current cast for SBS My Love by My Side, received the cable channel special for OCN’s Yakcha. The Best OST went to MBC Best Love‘s Heo Gak for ‘Don’t Forget Me.’

While KBS Sungkyunkwan Scandal only turned out the best director’s award, it was impressive that many of SBS dramas won the awards at 2011 Korea Drama Awards.
