Actress Song Hye Kyo has become active in spreading Korean language with Professor Seo Kyung Duk.
Seo Kyung Duk, a visiting professor at Sungshin Women’s University and an expert in promoting Korea, said on April 13, “To celebrate the establishment day of the provisional government building in Shanghai, we are about to provide 30,000 copies of new Korean guidebook for the building and Yun Bong Gil memorial hall. Another 10,000 copies will be presented at the accommodations for provisional government officials.
The latest guidebook includes the history of independence movement in a chronological table and an introduction to Shanghai provisional government building, doctor Yun Bong Gil on the movement, provisional government accommodations in Gaheung, Kim Koo’s shelter, and another provisional government building in Hangzhou.
A personnel of Song Hye Kyo’s agency explained the reason of Song’s participation in the event, “After doing a lot of activities abroad, Song acknowledged the importance of Korean, so she decided to support the guidebook for Shanghai provisional government building.”
