Super Junior will sing the theme song for the ’2011 Asia Song Festival’.
On the 11th, Donghae attended an appointment ceremony for the festival.
Donghae said, “I’m honored to sing the theme song, which gives hope to people from all over the world.”
He added, “Tens of thousands of children are dying all over the world. I will do my best and I will learn many things from UNICEF.”
Donghae and SNSD’s Seohyun will sing the theme song “Dreams Come True” at the festival, which will be held at Daegu Stadium, on the 15th.
Cho Young Soo, who wrote many hit songs, composed “Dreams Come True”. The song includes bright and cheerful melodies that many foreign fans can sing along together. Seohyun’s clean tone and Donghae’s emotional voice complement the song.
The festival is an international charity concert. Proceeds from the theme song will be donated to UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund) to help children in Africa.
The song will be released as a digital single on the 11th.
