After School’s Kahi dropped tears at her last After School’s concert.
On June 17, After School’s Kahi gave a solo performance at After School’s encore concert held at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan. Kahi recently decided to leave After School to debut as a solo singer.
Because Kahi never gave a solo performance in Japan, people gave enthusiastic responses and cheers.
Kahi has successfully led After School’s concept and music as a leader until now, so she was especially enthusiastic about her last After School’s concert, which was held before After School’s comeback to the music scene on June 21.
To give the best solo performance to the audience, she had practiced hard day and night.
Pledis Entertainment, After School’s agency, says, “The reason Kahi’s solo performance at this concert was greater than ever was because Kahi put all her effort and passion into it.”
Kahi dropped tears during her encore performance and said, “I’ll come back again as a solo singer.”
After the concert, Kahi said, “I did my best at the concert. I’ve been very happy to be a leader of After School. Even after I leave the group, I want to show you that I’m continuously improving.”
People responded: “It’s sad but congratulations. I’ll look forward to your solo album.” “You will be fine because your solo performance is great.” Kahi is the best! I’ll keep supporting you.”
After School released their fourth Japanese single album, Lady Luck/Dilly Dally, on June 13 and ranked third on the Oricon Chart with the album.
