Lee Seung Gi to hold his concert at Nippon Budokan

Lee Seung Gi, who will debut in Japan soon, has decided to hold his concert at Nippon Budokan in Japan.

On January 30, Oricon said that Lee held a press conference in Japan and officially announced that he will debut in Japan with his single Era of Love on March 6.

He also said that he will hold a concert on June 1 at Nippon Budokan in Japan.

Holding a concert at Nippon Budokan only three months after his debut is the fastest process as a Korean singer.

At the press conference, Lee said, “Japanese was hard to learn. But I worked hard to speak and pronounce Japanese clearly.”

“Since IU and I debuted in Japan around the same time, I think it will be helpful for me to be active in Japan as a solo.”

Oricon introduced Lee by saying, “He debuted in 2004 when he was 17 years old. He received the Rookie of the Year prize with his song “You’re My Woman” and his TV series Shining Inheritance, also known as Brilliant Legacy received 41.7 percent of the audience rating. He also became a commercial king, by representing 11 companies.”

They added that Lee is a national younger brother in Korea and many Japanese fans are waiting for him to debut.
