Continuous dental care is the short cut to dental health

Seoul, Korea – After surveying the citizens in Gwangmyeong city, it appeared that from the total of 87 people, 72 people received less than three times of dentist care a year. It could be seen that around 82% of the people avoid getting dentist care.

Sung Tae Choi, the director of Design Dental Clinic, said that the reason people receive dental care less than 3 times a year is not because of they have healthy teeth, but because they go to the dentist only when they feel the pain or feel uncomfortable.

Also, the director said that there were many patients, who only received care once a year, left their teeth to decay, which resulted in paying more money in the future.

Also, 64 people or 90% of the people who go to the dentist less than three times a year picked service and level of politeness as the factors they consider the most when choosing a dental clinic.

Director Choi advised, “Many patients who haven’t received proper dentist care are afraid to go to the dentist, therefore, I believe that one of the abilities that dentists must have is being able to ease the patients’ tension through kindness.”
